Choosing Between a Half Day and a Full Day
The honest answer is that it depends on how much you want to get out of the car. A half day of four hours works well if you want to see a lot from the window with two or three proper stops — Westminster, a walk along the South Bank, Tower Bridge and back. It suits a first visit, a stopover, or an afternoon between other commitments.
A full day of eight hours changes the nature of the trip. It gives room for a long lunch, a gallery, a proper stop in Greenwich or Hampstead, and the parts of London that aren't on the postcard route. If you have any interest in getting out and walking around, the full day is the one that repays itself, because the half day tends to become a choice between rushing and dropping stops.
Neither is a fixed route. The itinerary is yours, and it can change on the day — that's the advantage of a car and chauffeur over a coach or a walking tour. If the weather turns, or something catches your interest, we adapt.
What a Tour Day Looks Like
We collect you from wherever you're staying. There is no meeting point to find and no group to keep up with. From there you set the pace — your chauffeur handles the navigation, the parking and the traffic, which in central London is a genuine part of the value rather than a detail.
Between stops the car is yours: somewhere to leave coats, shopping and cameras rather than carry them, and somewhere warm and quiet to sit down when you've had enough of walking. Complimentary water and phone chargers are available throughout — a day of photographs is hard on a phone battery.
Your chauffeur knows the city and is happy to suggest where to stop, where to eat and what's worth the queue. Equally, if you'd prefer a quiet drive and your own company, that's entirely fine. It's your day.
Practical Notes for Visitors
The Porsche Panamera seats up to 3 passengers plus your chauffeur, with exact capacity depending on the vehicle assigned to your booking. Larger parties should get in touch and we'll confirm what we can accommodate.
Congestion Charge and ULEZ apply to central London and are charged at cost where relevant — worth knowing, because they apply to any vehicle you travel in, including your own. Parking and entry fees to attractions are separate and remain yours to arrange.
Tours run outside London too. Windsor, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath and the Cotswolds all work comfortably as a full day from the capital, and longer journeys across mainland UK are available with advance notice.
We recommend at least 24 hours' notice, and 48 hours for longer or multi-day itineraries. Bookings arrive as a request and we typically confirm within 1 to 3 hours. Pricing is quoted per booking based on duration, route and requirements, and confirmed before anything is committed.
